Celebrity Tailor from Ajegunle to the World

 This is Veekee James. A lady who watched her mother sew clothes in Ajegunle and never knew she was gifted. She decided to start sewing clothes and went ahead to upskill herself until she became a professional fashion designer. 

Veekee will make clothes and people will be pricing her anyhow but she didn’t give up.

Celebrities will make clothes and ask her to give them for free in exchange for tags but she never accepted. 

Today Vekee is a brand and celebrities are on the queue to wear her designs. 

Veekee got married this year and announced her masterclass where she charged students 1M naira. She was dragged and insulted for charging such a fee. Worst is the drags came from people who can’t afford to take care of themselves but she never paid them attention.

This was how Veekee dressed for the 3days master class and she had at least 50 people in attendance. Her students are also from different countries as we saw students from the US, UK, Canada and students from other African countries. 

She is a smart business woman who understands that she has to sell her brand first before others can buy and as you can see in her outfits, she represented her brand well. 

Dear business person, never be afraid to go big. Never bow to naysayers. Never listen to br0ke people cos misery loves company. Most importantly be consistent and never give up! As long as you’re giving value, there’s a customer for you! 

I’m celebrating her today cos she’s an inspiration to many. This is a hardworking woman making her money effortlessly with her skills. 

Women who make their money without sleeping with men exist and we should always talk about them for the younger generation to be inspired.
