Worship songs and the Still small voice.

Hello 👋 😇

Wherever you are in your life right now whether in the midst of the raging storm or sailing calm waters, the Lord is the answer to the question and the Solution to the problem. In the book of 1kings, we find the prophet Elijah waiting in a cave for the voice of the Lord to speak. So great wind, a mighty earthquake and even 🔥 FIRE before the voice of the Lord came. However, Elijah remains waiting and doesn't respond to this things. Good thing too, because guess what? The Lord wasn't in them! 😳 

Then in the calm, a still small voice speaks. Elijah covers his face, and leaves the cave to speak with the Lord. 

In our routine of Christianity, and famous TV or online ministries, we can begin to covet the EXPERIENCE OF WORSHIP, We want the wind of the spirit, the shaking of the room, and the fire 🔥 of God to consume us. All of these things are great and God does a work in these kind of encounters. However, beyond them we have a life changing encounter when the still small voice speaks to us. We therefore should take a break once in a while to hear from God.

 Especially in a world of busyness and we are all running around chasing papers. We need to constantly wait for the leading of God's Spirit. God is always speaking but are you attentive enough to listen carefully? Brethren and Sistren.... Please Cultivate the habit of listening to the still small voice. Amen

For Elijah the prophet, the whisper brought corrections, affirmation and instruction. He found out he wasn't alone as he felt and received instructions as to who was to carry on his ministry. (His servant Elisha). 

What are you Trusting God for or waiting for God to tell you friend, I encourage you to yield to what you already hear Him saying, and settle in your heart ❤,  that His instructions are always for your good
